Most of the major financial publications do this from time to time. The WSJ did it a few months ago. If you ask the brokerages they can tell you and will give you copies of the studies if they did well in them <g>. Try your Edward Jones broker -- I know they came out near the top one of the studies and have handed out copies in the past. Sorry I don't know where to locate a copy right at the moment. And any honest broker will be able to give you a list of their recommendations for the past few years, so you can do the stats yourself. But keep in mind that these studies are __very__ sensitive to the time they are done and the time frame they cover. If you recommended Adaptec at 50 on September 9, make sure your study period starts with stocks recommended on or after September 10!!
