Maybe I'm not understanding "boxing" then. Isn't boxing when you are both long and short the stock? So you initially sold short at 70 with a stop buy at 71, then when the stock went down you put your stop buy at 70. You say you are "boxed" again ... so in laymens terms, what is your position?

They managed to run it up just to hit 70 1/2 and get my 500 shares :( I reshorted at 69 7/8 and this time I've got my stop buy in the opening gap. I won't make that mistake again or am I making another mistake?
