Bill Gates used to own 40% of Microsoft. Now he owns something like 23%, meaning he's sold off over 42% of HIS holdings in one of the fastest growing companies in history. Guess he wanted to diversify, plus pay for his little house and other ventures. Insider sales don't necessarily mean much, especially when they get a fresh supply of options each year (don't know if this is true for TDFX execs or not).

I agree with you selling 9% of his holding does not alarme me a bit, remember there are only few windows where insiders can buy or sell.
Many people have different interest and need in their life to raise capital.

To be clear, in May Gordon Campbell sold 60,000 shares (slightly less than a Zillion ;-). He still owns ~600,000 shares so that means he sold ~9% of his holdings.

Geez, Chip don't you get it? Not only has he sold zillions, but he has so many zillions more to sell! This bad news on a scale you can't begin to fathom! It's way beyond the end of the world (forget it! -- that's history!) This thing is gonna go so low it won't even come up for Groundhog Day!
The one consolation we're going to have is that we won't have to worry about violent game graphics affecting our children -- unless we had plans to put them through college. Forget about that! It's time to line up for the soup kitchen, and tell 'em 3dfx sent ya!:)
