Yes but our currency keeps going down against the USD which ticks me off!!

Chip, no offense, but you're kind of contradicting yourself when you praise Canada on the one hand as a model and in the next paragraph support minimal government - our top tax bracket here in B.C. is around 54%. Vancouver's a great lifestyle town but our local economy's practically in recession because of dependence on lumber, mining, and forestry. Plus lots of professionals are leaving for the States so we're getting a brain drain. In the long run this can't be good.
