< Carbon's mission statement is the reduction of carbon atoms being emitted into the environment as free hydrocarbons or as carbon dioxide. These greenhouse gases, which are said to be responsible for global warming can be reduced by monetization of stranded natural gas which is today vented freely or flared as a result of oil production throughout the third world. These gases, even such gases containing as much as 30% carbon dioxide, can be converted to ultra clean burning synthetic petroleum fuels (naptha, jet fuel, and diesel) by the gas to liquids synfuels technology. The gas to liquids synfuels technology involves the combination of the novel, patented sythesis gas process of Carbon called SynGen and the Fischer-Tropsch hydrocarbon synthesis process of the N.D. Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry, Academy of Sciences, Russia, under exclusive license to Carbon. >> See my post #15 - CO2 still goes into the atmosphere but in the second case it is out the tailpipe of a truck driving through europe somewhere. Greenhouse problem not addressed just relocated. They need a new mission statement, here's one: Make lots of money by putting in inexpensive plants and converting stranded gas reserves into expensive diesel fuel. Encourage the world to drive diesel vehicles so that the demand for diesel goes up, profits go up and the stock prices goes up by a factor of ten. If they'll change the mission statement to this one, I will buy some stock. JCM
