Just a thought...

If the USGA has not outlawed "existing" titanium woods, then the current offering are grandfathered. However, Callaway's strength lies in its innovative cutting edge designs. This affords them their substancial profit margins. If future innovations are threatened because the USGA has drawn a line in the sand, then Callaway becomes just another manufacturing stock commanding a much lower P/E multiple.
Just playing devil's advocate, any comments?

It's just the opposite here in the southeast. While having a wet spring, we now can't get a drop and the temps are soaring. Our heat index is clearing 100 degrees with regularity. I just watched the weather to see if there would be any threats to this weekend's 36 holes and the only threat we face is heat exhaustion.

Is it just me or does it seem like Taylor Made is gaining alot of pro endorsements. A ton of players are now hiting the LCG irons. Personally, I hate the "bronze" look of their clubs. But if they hit right, hit'em.

Wallace,

Upper state NY has some of the worst weather. This late in the year though is a bit unusual. I remember a few yeas when there was still snow on the ground though into mid-May. Don't miss the winters at all.

Actually, the weather has been a factor here in CA. Until really this week, the weather has been VERY unusual. Many times, it seemed at though someone upstairs had decided we would skip ahead to fall again. I can't remember the last time it rained this much, this late. Rain through June? Huh?

You can also tell by the plants and trees. Lots of things have been thrown off by the weather this year. Lots of things coming up very late or lasting long past their usual time.
