I have had good success with that strategy as well. I use quote.com biggest point losers as a starting point. I wait for a short cover/short term reversal and ride it up as long as the momentum carries it forward, and get out when the pace starts to slow down or the bid/ask takes a turn.

I've been on vacation for a week in Bodega Bay and I'm trying to wade through a week's posts!

What's your home setup like (hdw/softw) and what do you like most about it? Have you looked at the Cybertrader software?

I'm in the market for a good investment software package. Since I'm not yet ready for the daytrading warzone, I'm only looking for good analysis software, not real-time stuff. What have you read/heard about OmniTrader? I want something that will allow me to devise custom filters and signals. What do you suggest?
