The trend is away from producing in house. Note purchase of an in-house Korean business announced by DPMI earlier this year. I think the reason is similar to the contract mfg business - mfg expertise is
expensive and best left to mfg experts, etc. This mask-making equipment is getting to be very expensive.

DPMI has a major position in Asia vs. PLAB, why I do not know. This hurts short to intermediate term but long term that is probably where the best growth will be.

I think the original IPO for DPMI stated its intent to gradually sell the stock. All the benefits I stated from the association with DuPont
are there, but not the possibility of a takeover.
