Thanks Techie.

Are you standing aside till some of the
corporate earnings are out of the way
and we have greater visibility or
are your staying fully invested and
playing the fluxes long and short
in the current market environment?
You have alway been a very instinctive
trader so I was curious what your
gut reaction was right now.

Hi Techie,

>SBC contract and rumors of takeover by LU were also cited as possible causes for

>pool until October.

can't LU just announce the deal now and close the transaction after october ?

Regarding mega mergers... I would think LU would be better off buying small companies and pushing the product using its name/reputation in the market place. As you know best technology doesn't always win in the market place. If I am not mistaken, CSCO was able to capture most of the switch market buying a small company making switches. I always wonder if CSCO has gained anything with it's purchase of STRM ?

Suresh
