The SEC has some power and responsibility to see that this doesn't occur. Like when the SEC recently caught COMS way overstating their merger expenses with US Robotics. But then again, these are government agencies and they rarely do their job correctly. Of course, you all remember how well the government agencies did their job to prevent the S&L disaster of the 1980's. <G>
