After buying BRKB this week, I realize I am essentially long DIS through that, so buying puts would be a hedge at best.

AMZN and JPM look good. AMZN has to crash eventually; as Roger always says, fundamentals catch up in the end. And JPM can't help but get caught in the Asia mess. They already broke support around 120 with the next support around 110. I doubt they would hit 90, but the January 90 puts could easily double if they get close.

Having a separate options account with VERY limited funds has imposed good discipline. I can't chase every notion I get. A bit of AMZN and a bit of JPM with some powder dry for anything else that comes up.

Can't wait to see how Japan is trading tomorrow after the wet fizzle from the weekend meeting. For those that follow the SPX or SPY, it's been making lower highs and lowers lows the past few cycles. It bears watching (pun intended).

>> As Tom Hua and JTC have pointed out with the Barron's article, overall book sales are flat. <<

Are online book sales flat? Are online music sales projected to be flat?
