Well put LT.jhild constantly brings up the worst in numbers to support his claim the company is virtually worthless.On the other hand all we have to go by is the companies PR Claims of what they are worth.The company says these numbers are conservative.We right now have no way to support either side's claim.But if they are anywhere close to what they say they are than this is a steal!Not to mention what the future could be because there are thousands of acres of supposedly dried up fields.The potential is enormous.I'm betting on the people in this company and their years of experience. BillQ The Stagg Report will set things straight.

Good post, LT! Also, it's important to remember that MTEI has not just coal reserves at it's disposal, but gas and oil as well. Looking at another West Virginia oil and gas company who is a reporting company on the NASDAQ (PETD), their revenues from oil and gas were $73,878,000 for the year ending 1997, and their net profit was over 7 million dollars. Remember....the amount of natural gas in West Virginia is astronomical! Anybody who just looks at coal figures, is making a BIG mistake! Juanita
