Exactly Bill and that's all investing is...boiled down to the lowest common denominator... weighing the information as we see it and putting down the money. We aren't always right but we made our own decision :))

jhild constantly brings up the worst in numbers to support his claim the company is virtually worthless.

I don't bring up the worst in numbers. If I wanted to make that worse I could have thrown in some additional risk factors. In fact energy resources are down now relative to the closing price of that deal that I referenced that was back in November. Go look at that for yourself. The fact remains that a transaction for 12,000 acres of resources, 23 million tons of recoverable, low sulfur coal, in West Virginia, sold for only $6M. I didn't make that up. in fact I presented a fair analysis of it.

Go ahead. Believe what Jack Uselton, an O&G guy, says about coal mining. I don't care. When it comes to defining value, I put my faith in a market transaction between two unrelated parties, before I believe the shine I might get from someone projecting how much something may be worth. (Especially if he owns it and would benefit from me thinking it was worth a lot.) But you are surely free to do what you want.
