This is not that far fetched simply becasue this is what's taking place in the market and you can see where IOM is. The question is this: If 100mb is enough to keep the tie ratio down, than what kind of tie ratio is Sony looking at? How are they going to make money if the price of their drives is "competitive" and the ratio is low?
