Hope your right. StrongArm and i960 are Intel's best embedded engines. I have never been a fan of embedded x86 for price/performance reasons and because it is awkward to use in real time applications.

However the customers can pick from any Intel offerings.

As for embedded DRAM product the answer for Intel is clear - just use the industry foundry capacity just like anyone else. It isn't well known but Intel often contracts for silicon from others where it makes the most sense. For embedded DRAM product - it makes sense!
