RNWK is up strongly (up 5) on nice volume.

The 3rd party support of the RNWK platform just keeps piling up. Who would want to compete with that. You would make more money being a third-party supporter of RNWK than you would by directly competing and trying to start another proprietary platform.

I think MSFT knows this, which is why the MSFT "client" player was designed to be compatible with the RNWK server.

Also, MSFT owns 10% of RNWK.

Another Gorilla candidate moving up: MMC Networks (MMCN).

Breaking out today at new highs on big volume.

MMCN makes a "network processor" which obviates the need for clunky router/switching technology. It lowers the cost of production for networking vendors such as Cisco and Lucent and DSC.
