Let me rephrase:

Free speech prevails in the courts that our litigious society seems to so eagerly abuse.

As far as SI, when one plays in someone else's sandbox....

lisa,

yes it does...but it depends on what the person says and more importantly HOW they say it, as to whether that person wants to be an outcast, by peers, or not.

And actually some people are so sick, they enjoy being the downtrodden upon. Some are so sick they even talk to themselves under different aka's ... yep ... they do ... Some love to give themselves pats on the back, they love to congratulate themselves and unknowing you would think they are normal. HAH!

lisa, occasionally it is truly a sick and fiendish world, the world of SI

sick .. yes .. but true

your friend, Sue

I strongly disagree. All SI basically asks is that everyone be somewhat civil and not overtly harassing. Even true constitutionally protected speech can generally be reasonably limited as to time, place and manner....Here, there are no "time" limits, very few, if any, real "place" limits, and extremely reasonable "manner" limits. SI's (current) ultimate goal is to make a buck -- no limits would defeat that purpose.

Sounds pretty free to me.
