Worswick,

your last post is just about the most uneducated post I have ever read on SI.

At that I am in a small way a historian of China

very very small indeed.

Thanks for clearing all this up.-g- I like reading
your strong statements. Your words seem sincere in their
roughness.

Just don't go talking about driving backwards on a one way street again...

There are many problems associated to the current systems in China. Because of that, I do not see China becomes a power in the foreseeable future. There must be quite a lot factors and reasons behind your opinions on the subject. It will be very helpful if you could share them her with me and other participants. That will be far better than emotional judgement.

On the other hand, I encourage more tolerance from everyone. If an opinion is not allowed to present, then everyone would suffer eventually.

Clark,

Please brim with humility more often, you do so quite well.

I do quite agree with your thoughts on China. It is such a huge nation, with many resources, it will take a while for the cracks to turn to crumbles.

That Clinton chooses to so resolutely chase policies that favor China and supports the track she is on I find quite annoying.

My best,
Lee
