Oracle has some big name companies using there systems - Kellogs, Archer Daniels, AT&T, Bell Com, Best Western, CNF Trans, Wakefern Foods, Tosco Refining, Motorola, ESCO, ENROD, Fluke Mfg, Mitre Corp, GE, Segate Tech, Spacelabs, Trane Co, Glendale Fed Banks, and many others like Yahoo

Kellogs uses a robust, intergrated set of Oracle Financial and Manufacturing applications to streamline its operations worldwide which has supported Kellogs 7 billion in sales. Oracle database is Kellogs info mgmt backbone. Kellogs uses Oracles global solutions to seamlessly and synergistically work with suppliers, partners and customers.

Wall Street is asleep on this one. I just had some very long talks about NC with my company's CIO. He is convinced of its future. He is also convinced of ORCL's continued growth.
I trust him implicitly, as he has rarely steered me wrong with my tech investments.
