Re: Chambers' comments, how many other small, independent telephone gear companies are out there? DSC Communications was sold to Alcatel, and I can't think of any others. Can it be that TLAB is the only one sitting out there waiting to be plucked? Let's hope that Birck isn't too adamant about staying independent. TLAB cannot survive as a midsize (2 Billion/yr revenue) company when behemoths like LU, CSCO, Nortel, and the foreign giants are out there. TLAB must eat or be eaten, IMHO.
