If you ever read my messages carefully, you would know that I trade options and secondary stocks, but not my heritage portfolio. It simply doesn't pay to trade high quality stocks on a sustained upward move.

PS: Chaplinsky may turn out to be right re. $100 in 12 months. Didn't you or Greg or a bunch of others on this thread call him a Li*r?

Talk about grace under pressure!!!!!!

Re. "bad-mouthing traders": I basically pity their stupidity when the stocks being traded are wrongly chosen. It's never a moral conviction on my part--to trade or not to trade.

Mindmeld,

I got the same advice from some trader friends of mine : when there is such a crazy ramp up in price, go contrarian, and sell immediately after the run up; When RMBS went up to $85, "momentum bandits" gave sound advices to sell at the top.

I have not enough experience though to go on such fast moves : just long and waiting since last year.

Regards,

MiB

OT : Betty, you are right, I guess it is quite unfair to call this thread "easily excited". Those people should browse the whole thread before commenting.
