Win98 is merely an upgrade to Win95 & another step in MSFT progression to further integrate its browser into the OS. Really nothing more.

As far a corporate environments -- lets' get serious. MSFT's strategic map is for Windows NT to become the dominant OS not only for the corporate networking environment, but also for the desktop. In other words, say goodbye to the Win9x family of OS in a couple years. Why would any corporate environment upgrade to Win98, when it knows it will need to move to a homogenous Windows NT environment in just short time thereafter.?

The "battle" of Win98 is exists only in your mind.
