lazarre-
What's worse. Lying about sex or lying about prosecutorial abuse?

Lying under oath about prosecutorial abuse is just as bad as lying about sex under oath; however, the only people who have lied under oath are Clinton and Monica.

Perjury of any form is illegal and subject to investigation, prosecution and incarceration. If you are the president of the US, you hold the top law enforcement position in the country. You should be punished the hardest if you perjure yourself.

Since they are not the questions at hand they aren't relevant.

Clinton stands accused of perjury, suborning perjury, obstruction of justice and abuse of power.

#1 should be easily proved, #2 and #3 are harder to prove but most think he is guilty of both based on the evidence available. #4 has been already proven and handed down in numerous court judgments.

Lazarre: No one ought to lie or leak but it is part of the Washington culture. However, perjury, subornation of perjury, obstruction of justice and foreign campaign contributions and their effect on US policy are the real issues. Sex is just the cover to distract thoughtful people from the real issues. Should the President be a perjurer? Should the highest law enforcement officer in the executive branch be an obstructor of justice? Should the person sworn to defend and protect the Constitution be taking foreign money? If the evidence shows these things have occurred would you not agree, Pres. Clinton should be removed? JLA
