Hmmm - 266MHz Celeron as a gambit? Intel gets everyone into a suff so that with Mendicino for Christmas, everybody goes ecstatic. Sort of like when the pain stops it feels like pleasure. <g>

Sort of like New Coke - which ended up making people buy a lot more

Jeff, thanks that was an interesting interview. I just hope Intel didn't burn a negative brand image into the consumer psyche with the initial Celeron. Dale
