Todd I asked this very question of Farrell at RedChip. His answer:
At this time (May 8th) they would only consider licensing the GameFx technology to those developers working directly on THQ games. Of course his pause in answering the question could mean that this is not etched in stone.

Todd,

The question I have about these acquisitions is, how do you keep the talent? Software engineers can write their own tickets these days. What good are studios without the people.

I imagine the key guys sign contracts and the stock options can't hurt...good projects/games are probably a key. Nothing that can't be dealt with. But hiring or talent is a critical task and expanding too rapidly might backfire???
