James thinks this is convincing stuff folks. <endorsement of the very kind of socialist-style command and control economics embraced by the Soviet Union that led to its collapse, not the free market principles on which the United States economy is based.> This is an elected officials alleged comments regarding the DOJ's work on behalf of it's constituents --the American people.

Nah, it's Slade "Salvage Rider" Gorton, he of the "Forest Health Preservation" Bill, where you improve forest health via clearcutting. Echoes of Vietnam, where we had to save all those villages by destroying them. So, you like the old red-baiting lines? Ad hominem attacks are always in style among the Friends of Bill. Old Slade's plenty into the "planned economy" when it comes to his buddies in the timber industry looting federal property, but on antitrust matter, he speaks the TRUTH, right?
