Brooke...

More help, puhleeze!

I ran the scan called "ProcessMSVMS" and I now have that in a profile. I thought all was well, as I was able to see everything in WOW with one of my favorite templates.

Following tonight's update (the data arrived fine) my WOW charts don't show the update. What did I do wrong? Yes, QV is running ( I never shut it down). Ideas?

TIA, Ken

Hi Brooke, no I am not losing my templates and no I am not outputing a new list to the directories.

I did rename the files that QP updates before creating my templates. The reason I did this was because when I looked at them is MS the NASD Advancing Volume or NASD Advancing Issues etc. would just have the name "NASD" and I would have to switch to symbol view to determine what I wanted to open.

The really strange thing is that I will get duplicates on some the files QP updates (same symbol but different name) and one will be updated but one will not be updated.

Maybe I am back to the DOP file issue. Will try turning that back on.

Monty

Hi Again Brooke, an update to my composite problem. When I create a composite in MS Downloader (ie Primary !NQ-A less Secondary !NQ-D), MS Downloader is assigning a "SYMBOL" that is the same as the "PRIMARY" used to create the composite (in the above example the COMPOSITE symbol would be !NQ-A).

Don't remember this happening in the past. Anyway, that is why QP2 updates only 1 or the symbols and why I thought it was creating a new symbol.

May need to reload MS.

No response necessary! I may have a MONTY problem here. :-))
