Scott:

Actually, I disagree. The decision in the MSFT case was a landmark one for Intel.

In this quote from the judges:

biz.yahoo.com

''Antitrust scholars have long recognized the undesirability of having courts oversee product design, and any dampening of technological innovation would be at cross-purposes with antitrust law.'

This one decision strengthens Intel's case immensely.

Why don't you short it and make the profit going down?

Scott I agree with much of what you are saying, but this is the INTC thread where negative/bearish points of view aren't welcome. The fact of the matter is that fundamentals haven't changed AT ALL for INTC, so there is no reason for the stock to recover a heck of a lot. People are used to buying INTC on the dips and having it go up eventually. The big difference is we are not in a typical tech cycle. The fundamentals in the industry have changed for good. Low end PC's have completely changed the ball game, and INTC is weak in that area.

INTC was a simple company, making a ton of money on PC's when people where paying 2 to 3K for them. But that is not the case anymore, and INTC will have to diversify quickly if it wants to be an industry leader.
