Thanks for the information from your Godly Jewish wife. I printed out H.J. Roberts' Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients May 19996 pp. 106-109. I drank "tons" of Crystal Light last summer. No problems. I have a part of a gallon in the refrigerator now---but---perhaps there is something to this aspartame story. I'll do some more checking. I note that it said somewhere that you were a chemist & minister. Your interpretation on the doctrine of hell is interesting and seems to go along with the Seventh Day Adventist doctrine. The scholars on the NIV translation wouldn't appreciate your assessment. How about the NASV? I went to college with a person that has translated "The Message"...the New Testament in contemporary English: Eugene H. Peterson. I find this translation invigorating.
