Mohammad and the Koran deny the Crucifixion of Jesus. That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus The son of Mary, The Apostle of God" But they killed him not, Nor crucified him, Qu'ran Sura IV 157 The Crucifixion of Jesus is the central doctrine of the Christian Faith. If Jesus was not crucified, then Christianity is false. If Jesus was crucified, then Mohammad and Islam are false. The Crucifixion of Jesus is established on the the person observations and accounts of the Apostles and disciples in the New Testament. Are there secual documents to establish and confirm the New Testament account of the Crucifixion? You bet. We have the ancient Roman documents of Pilate's letter to Caeasar about the Crucifixion found in the ACTA PILATI. We also have the Palestinian Talmud---the chronicles and records of the scribes that observed Jesus's Crucifixion and were for the most part neutral about the event. We also have the Babylonian Talmud that is very negative about Jesus and His Crucifixion but clearly confirm the historical fact about His Crucifixion. In this case, the Babylonian Talmud is a powerful testimony to the fact of the Crucifixion. We also have the record of Josephus, Philo and Roman historian Tacitus. The Crucixion of Jesus is an historical fact but Mohammad and the Koran deny that the Crucifixion ever occurred.

The final Nun was mistaken for the dotted Zayin. There is very little difference in these two letters except for a minute separation between the top and bottom of the letter. The mistranslation was because of a jot and a tittle. Picture a lit candle. The candle stick and the flame are actually connected, now blow the candle out....the flame is no longer there. See the candle without the pointed flame? Another illustration is the T, now picture the trunk of the T just ever so slightly disconnected from the top - of the T. The problem occurred in the translation from the manu.to the printing of the Bible. This was the mistake of a sleepy scribe.
