marvin - to expand on that thought slightly - Cisco and Ascend are prime winners as they supply the backbone Internet equipment to ATT. As the new cable-telephony network ATT/TCI is promoting will be packet based from the set-top box to the headend, it will need to be multiplexed and combined with other data as it heads into and through the backbone. Key beneficiaries? More routers and ATM switches. Who provides chips for every Cisco ATM switch and many Ascend switches? - our favorite little chipmaker - PMCS. Bulldozer
