Ann,

Unfortunately, the Republicans are almost the same as the Democrats now. Their political and philosophical platform is fairly far from mine. They would never accept a candidate as myself on their ticket because I am not for government reform, but the elimination of whole sectors of government. I am not for tax reduction, but the total elimination of the IRS and the income tax system.

Plus I advocate things such as paying Congress 10 times what it now gets annually, but limiting the time they meet to one month except in the case of national emergency.

And, the list goes on...

But thanks for your vote! :-)

Fondly as always,

FT

Ann,
Politically the Republicans are doomed. They cannot win any elections without the christian vote yet they do not agree with or want to associate with christian views. They pay lip service for the vote because so many christians still believe politics in this country is fair, legal and offers hope. It does not. When the "christian right" (which used to be the mainstream thought in this country not too long ago) walks away from the Republicans you won't be able to tell a Republican from a Democrat at all. The parties might as well merge. Their will only be three questions for politicians in Washington then. How much should we spend, on what, and where do we get it. Look out, runaway train!!
