"But have a look at the pages on DNA on their web site, and you may get a different picture of their future intentions." No one can doubt that MSFT intends to dominate the development tools. As an investor MSFT is a far better bet than Inprise or Corel. Both of these companies produce products superior to MSFT, but from my experience companies prefer MSFT products over any other. The reason is that they own the operating system. Added to this factor both companies are run by incompetent CEO's, who are more suited as project managers. This was the position of Del Yocam at Apple and I don't think he has evolved beyond that. Borl would have been better off without him as CEO. I think its time that the board of INPR think seriously about replacing Del with a more competent CEO. He is an overpaid underachiever.
