Eddie,

The good news is that the rate of consolidation is only going to increase for quite some time. CS will ALWAYS be able to find a suitor, it just boils down to whether CB feels that he's getting the right $$ per share his blood sweat and tears over the years deserves.

The problem with this is that it dictates a waiting game for now. I firmly believe CB has a "TO DO LIST" that has been put in front of him that he must accomplish before the white night arrives. He is only to do happy to endeavor upon this journey since there's a mighty big carrot out in front.

Selling at these levels is OUT OF THE QUESTION at these levels, however. IT'S TOO PERSONAL TOO HIM.

Patience will pay, and by the way, CS is finding a way to MAKE $$.

That's means something here folks, especially considering the Balance Sheet he has at his disposal.

Thanks,
Teflon

One more thing:

Today's announcement between TCI and AT&T is a big plus for the networking industry. The fact that the landscape is and will change from a CLIENT PERSPECTIVE ensures that the equipment vendor landscape will have to be aggressive in anticipating the new markets they will have to serve.

This means more consolidation at an even quicker pace.

Thanks,
Teflon

If they don't sale soon they wouldn't have a chance. Today I was reading an article from Microsoft Investor and the author was negative on CS. LU, ERICY, ALA, SMAWy they all have to get in to data. I think CS management should be changed. CS was one of the first and best networking companies now I can not think a company that is worst than CS in networking. If the management had any brain CS would have never came down to these levels. Four quarters in a row they have missed their numbers. No wonder you can not get analyst excited. I bought CS at $14.125. I wouldn't be surprised if CS goes below $10. Who would have ever thought it would get to $12.5
