Matrox Millenium ...Mystique

I do not see many differences either. The Mystique looks like it has some additional support for Quake. Also the software bundle is game based. Hopefully someone else knows.

Concerning the Mystique 220, what is the difference between the 2 and 4 MB board? This is the first time I've seen this option.

Howard's excellent post does a good job of detailing the RAM options #reply-4811244 . For a Trade Station I agree that 256 colors is the way to go. With 256 colors 2 MB is more than enough RAM for a 17 in monitor. The only difference will be your max resolution and color depth. This would make a difference for graphic applications. If you plan on getting one high end card why waste $ on the others?

Some 2 MB boards are only upgradeable to 4MB and the 4MB boards are upgradeable to 8MB. I do not know if this is the case for the Mystique. I doubt you will ever want to upgrade these cards to 8 MB.
