To say that religious freedom suppresses liberty is quite a stretch.
there may be those religious leaders that are very intolerant in their own right, but the freedom to seek out and practice what religious one chooses does not inherently suppress the liberties of any individual.

As long as the individual liberty you speak of does not harm or suppress the rights of anyone else, not just those with large bank accounts:-)
