Bullish Signal - almost 1000 out of the money put
options aug 10 traded so far. That is usually a good sign
in a stock like this. Expecting a pop sooner tahn later

Andy, that is one interesting post you found. The one issue I think that would not allow gmgc to do something like this is Bill Gates. With a relationship with Gates and MSFT why would gmgc do this and also would gates stand for it. He doesn't have any official say in the matter, but in reality I am sure his opinion is heard. There products (Portico) may and will have a part to play in msft's product line as they intertwine there software with the net, etc. That would be the only explanation I can come up with to make this financing show up in a good light. Do I buy it myselft--I'm not sure--but it is another way to look at it. I too own gmgc and a fair amount of shares.

Hi Andy,

I fully share your concerns as I have first hand experience with these types of financings. Unfortunately, my experience tells me that those institutions are not in for GMGC sake, but just for the sake of making a quick buck. That is all they do, and they constantly do it. They have no feelings, all they need is good liquidity to get out. These financings are structured in millions of different ways, but eventually in most of the cases these institution start to sell against the box almost immediately. They are always covered by their preferred convertible, so they can do whatever they want. Believe me, the company will tell you that this is not the case, but unfortunately, it is.

In fact, I have chosen to sell my position today. In a couple of months this will be all over, so I have plenty of time to get back in. If, of course, there is earth shattering news, all I said here becomes obsolete.

Best wishes to all,

Frank

"this financing arrangement makes me nervous."

It should. It looks like a death spiral convert to me.
