I would love to help you on your intervention question, but don't know. Maybe it was that last time the intervention was seen as a sign that would fix the problem and now it is seen as a sign that they cannot fix the problem. Beats me. Has intervention ever worked?

Lisa,
Like I said the other day, IMHO, the market lost momentum and was
ready to roll over so the little kitten on CNBC had to find a reason
even if it was a "clerical error or a rumor" .

The market drives the news

Good luck... BTW, we will probably turn up in about 30 min.
My stuff is down and wants to turn north but no signal
yet

Hi Lisa,..Re:<<$ intervention>>

Didn't happen. Looks like the yen had a spike up to 0.7220 but $ didn't gap down. Will put chart on web - big picture - look at DXY and JY*U. Anyway, $ only down 0.20 and Yen still down. Will take a few minutes to copy over. Can't access CEC right now for intraday $ chart or would post that link. Not looking for intervention to happen again until the Japanese have a chance to announce their newest version of restructuring.

Regards,

Lee
