Todd,

It has been said by a few on this thread that an announcement to split THQ stock would really have no impact on the price.

Look what happened to the stock of MindSpring Enterprises after they announced a three for one stock split today.

biz.yahoo.com

We have a market that craves liquidity in fast growing companies. Right now, THQ's float appears to be too small and can be too easily controlled. More shares out there would mean better liquidity and therefore less control that can be exercised by MMs or other forces.

Ergo, I'm in favour of a stock split - say 3 for 1.

We might actually see the stock - post split - at a price that even SL can cover at and 'make a few bucks'. e.g. Stock goes to 36. Post split it trades at SL's goal of $12. He can cover his short that he made at $18+ (he's an accountant so he's see the logic in this whereas others who are less skilled in the ways of high finance will not). This way, there can be something for everybody. ; )

Brian

P.S. Looking for $30+ and soon.
