The more the merrier!!

Lucent I'm very surprised you mentioned. Probably because
I don't know enough and all I hear is Lucent buying
Ascend or trying to collaborate with Cisco. I read
the John Chambers article a few days ago, and it seems
like Lucent is going to have problems merging due
to it's different corporate cultures with lots of other
networkers. Maybe, they'll be left with no-one except
nice high-priced 3COMS which comes from a different
mold than the BAYs, ASCNDs, etc.

Motorola....that would be ironic...you serious?<gg>
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em?

What do you think about Ericsson claiming they will
buy small companies...10 or so small ones. I don't
see this as doable, and consider it as playing down
the merger rumours. Any thoughts?
