The Puppet President By Timothy Rollins JUNE 26 -- Having Bill Clinton for a President is not always all bad. Clinton gives me so many opportunities and angles to pursue his stupidity and dissect his blatant disregard for the national security and well being of the United States and her people, that to not pursue this level of treasonous irresponsibility would be tantamount to complicity. One of the precious truths I learned in my youth was that if you do not speak out against what is wrong, than you are silently supporting it. It was through this teaching that I became an activist at age 16, following a riot at my high school in which four students were shot. There is talk that Clinton is immoral because of alleged sexual liaisons with various women, and because of the fact that more than 100 people that worked closely at one time or another with either Governor or President Clinton, are now dead of causes that are not always plausibly explained. The fact of the matter is, when you look at these allegations and situations, it reveals that Clinton is not so much immoral as he is amoral and power hungry. Lord Acton was right, when he said, "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." With Bill Clinton, America suffers from a double-whammy. He was corrupt from the beginning. And for algore to remain so closely affiliated makes one wonder what he has been doing behind the scenes, but has not yet been caught at - other than the Buddhist temple fundraiser, that is. Not only is Clinton amoral, he is now kowtowing to the Chinese. In cutting a deal with the Justice Department, Johnny Chung revealed that DNC fat cats as well as Clinton KNEW that the campaign contributions were coming from illegal sources. With this in hand, not to mention that the DNC has since wiped out its debt, thanks to Clinton and his Beijing connection, we now have the President making a visit to his new-found friends in the Chinese Government and Military. Kind of a home away from home, if you will. Cozy for him, but scary to the rest of us, as he is looking more and more like a puppet president, with Beijing pulling the strings. Article 2, Section 4 of the United States Constitution, which Bill Clinton swore to uphold and defend, states, "The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors.". Taking a look at the Clinton record, one need not be a rocket scientist to realize that Clinton is three for three on this issue. Treason and Bribery in his dealings with the Chinese through the Loral deal and the DNC contributions, and High Crimes and Misdemeanors with his personal indiscretions with Lewinsky, Willey and others, not to mention his flagrant abuse of power with Executive Order 13083. What makes this situation so shameful is that the GOP-controlled Congress does not have the backbone to stand up to Clinton the way the Democrats did to Nixon 25 years ago. Neither Lott, Gingrich nor any other major congressional figure has made a legitimate attempt to bring Clinton to heel in this unprecedented and flagrant abuse of power. And the Supremes are to blame as well, inasmuch as they do not seem to be remembering from Richard Nixon's past mistakes, especially in light of the fact that Chief Justice Rehnquist was on the High court at the time. I stay awake many a night trying to figure out if the American people will wise up and see that their freedoms are being sold to the highest bidder, and their birthright for a mess of pottage. And that the White House, a unique symbol of American majesty, might one day have a red flag with five yellow stars flying over it.
