Wow, that was quick! It's a little more than that: "The long-term program will develop new analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit (IC) wafer-manufacturing technology based on an existing IMP BiCMOS process." This should afford a higher premium than simply renting out FAB time, either through up-front development costs or higher prices on the products. Either way, it at least begins to capitalize on some of the recent millions spent on R&D. Also, this is a long term agreement, not a one batch, see ya, deal. We need more of these.
