Please explain:

"Assuming ADPT closes above 15 in Jan 2001, someone made themselves a nice $60,000"

Thanks,

I2

P.S., Could it have been ADPT selling the puts?

Evan regarding those LEAP PUTs, I have just been reading INTC and MSFT to name a couple, do the same. They sell a ton of out of the money puts themselves when they know there's good news ahead. Makes me wonder if it was ADPT showing a little confidence in their future.

Well it didn't take long to be removed from Credit Watch & have an S&P "Stable" outlook rating. Someone also pointed out that ADPT has now had quite a look under the covers at its competitor. Now they chose to pay $20M to get out of the deal. Certainly has to make you wonder about what they saw under those covers ;-)
