I just read (WSJ) that short interest has again increased for WCOM. My take has always been contrarian, feeling that the shorts will eventually cover. But I read that shorting before a merger is a good way to lock in a profit. Can someone explain this tactic to me. Thanks.

i agree .. on T. just i have this stupid mentality to shop for clearence.. and blue light sale.

u might look at RAL if u r in to value investing.
i m in a fast trading mode right now w. just 3-6 stocks. keep turning them.
need to get better at it.
