Short position reported on bloomberg the other day grew to almost
3.5 mill out of (roughly 26-27?? million shares). imho we are
closer to a rocket launch, we just have to hope we don't blow
up on the launching day..earnings and new innovative products will be the fuel that will take us out of this tight orbit($20-$30)..the chart
still looks very tight..21.75-22 becoming new resistence..

Jack,

I hadn't considered your suggestion that MRVC would buy half of a company and option the rest. I do think that is how MRVC management thinks anyway. In his dreadful appearance on CNBC, Noam said, "We believe that our ability to work with engineers, incentivized engineers, and motivate them and bring the technology fast to market is the key..." I wish the interviewer had asked about his "incentivized" remark, about some specifics.

So, I don't know all of this, as you ask. I've invested fairly successfully over the last 15 years and may reach the point in the next few years where investing will be my only "job." I'm very good at fundamentals but I'm still trying to fill in the holes in my knowledge. I've never invested based on M/A possibilities as I consider that a waste of time but I do want to understand it in case I find myself in the midst of it. I've spent the last year or so learning the "language" of networking, although I'm not a techie. MRVC is the most perplexing investment I've been involved with but it will have it's day.

Thanks for your input, Jack.
