Sigmund,

1.5 to 1? No way. No executive team wants to get involved in the confusion that will create. I think it'll be a 3:2 or outside chance, 2:1 at or about the earnings release. I'm hoping it's a 2:1 because we should be at about 32 - 34 by the release and that would put us at 16 - 17 after the split. We would get to 20 quite easily from 17. Microsoft and Dell use this strategy by splitting at 150 to 75 and then making quick runs to 100.

Regards,

Vic

Jim-

"I was long ago taught by a topnotch broker that announcmt of 2/1 split is an implicit
statement by the company's executives that they regard 100% growth in earnings in the
offing 10-18 months out. That is why stocks move up afterwards, not to mention hype
and momentum"

Does that broker believe this is true when KO or XON or DIS splits their stocks? DIS is splitting 3-1, does that mean they expect 200% growth? DIS will be lucky to grow by 200% in the next 8 years.
