HI Rich:

The recco was just what I posted ---
a step in --- time based and time driven --- "double up and catch up" and he knows about as much on trading as I do on quantum physics ..... gggg

He has gotten some books on trading options and thinks he's going to show me how -------

Heck, I was doing that fancy stuff way back and I've now settled on buying long, selling short, sometimes at the same time , as the best way to maximize profits and minimize losses.
The more simple it is ----- the better I like it.

On an off topic kind of comment ----

One never knows what complete market fear is until a predominance of one's money is tied up in an untradeable situation......
It happened to me long ago when I had a fairly large portion of my assets hocked and in futures and options with a brokerage house which went under overnight.
Did put a new perspective on the old saying ---- $cared $hitle$$ ----

Currently, I keep a log of my trades which are outstanding and my wife, kids, and broker know where to find it right on my desk next to the keyboard.
Everything is closed out every day on the index options and the certs are on the way and in the mail if it's an equity buy and if something happens to me during the day I've given them all 3 instructions -----
1) call a priest
2) close out all index positions
3) pray for me
They can examine the certs later and determined what to do ........

Sorry about the muggy weather up on the eastern seaboard --- it's just semi warm and dry down here on the prairie (98 degrees and 50%)

Haven't heard from Jer in a long time ---- Arlene must have bought him a gross of Viagra ---- and he wanted to use them before they spoiled, went bad, and had to be thrown away..... ggggggg

Regards --- Nemer

GM is calling for a Cold Shutdown (considering my hearing is going out...it may have been a different word than Cold...)
and considering discontinuing medical benefits...

can they do that for union workers or would they be discontinuing med for just the non union workers that are getting layed off
