Mr. Tilton could improve his timing a bit; he could also take the opportunity to put a little more comparative information into the releases. For example, in this one he could have taken the opportunity to say "... with the cancellation of these 3.9 million shares, there are now X million shares outstanding." Then, when people are doing their DD they can learn immediately that on such-and-such date, there were so-many shares outstanding. And when people show up here asking "... how many shares?", the answer is as easy as posting a link to the PR, so they read it for themselves and not have to take anyone's word but the Company's.
