Ed: It would not surprise me a whole lot to see the SC Supreme Court issue a ruling stating that games such as those cited in the article ("bingo, keno, superball keno, 3 card poker and lotto") constitute an "illegal lottery". These are the games which have basically no decision-making options for the player. A decision outlawing such games would throw a political bone to Gov. Beasley without stretching constitutional interpretation into completely indefensible grounds which is what, in my opinion, would happen if they try to declare EVERY game played on VGMs an "illegal lottery". If the SCSC did such a thing, I don't think it would be any big deal to AB&G. It would be interesting to know how many machines they have with this type of game on them, though.
