Surfer Mike: the flag ship's gonna be the dual mode Q phone. That baby is kinda a make or break prestige item in my mind. It's also the only Qcom phone I would really really want.

If they blow that one, kiss the stock goodbye for at least another six months, in my view. Rave reviews combined with a real good ramp on that one (margins should be hard to blow for a while) will do a lot to lift the stock as well I think.

It's pretty important, really. I mean, the Mot's tinyest clamshell is still the status fav. in this country. But its analog and network poor. A slightly larger, but feature rich, nice mechanically, good looking, reliable everywhere (good acting dual mode) Q phone could be the tech forward status phone of choice. A big deal. Blowing would also be.

It's all in how they manufacture, in my minority view. Designs they got. Production they haven't. Yet. Fingers crossed. From the sidelines still.

Doug

I like my Q. It's easy to use; has great speaker-sound. It fits nicely on the belt, and has the best look and feel of any phone. I solved the problem of the plastic belt clip coming off on its own by buying a leather case/belt holder at Radio Shack. I personally think the falling on the floor has been causing a lot of the problems both as to the plastic and the clamshell joint. I have not had any problems since I got the leather holder, which additionally has some cushioning built in.
